Psycho Crusher

Aliases: none Status: Minor Origin: Supplied by Uncle Rob as a strain in a vape pen Wielder: Killian

Uncle Rob’s strain in a vape pen, and the reason Killian’s underground fight ends the way it does. Killian vapes it, starts to glow, and launches a white energy sphere that defeats his opponent. Rob’s understanding of the dose and the duration is incomplete — a familiar situation — and the cartridge’s later history matters: it gets emptied, and Chuy uses it afterward. The feared supernova is a warning, not an event; it never goes off.

Description

The delivery system is a vape pen loaded with the Psycho Crusher strain, supplied by Rob. The demonstrated effect is dramatic and visible: the user glows and projects a white energy sphere with enough force to end a fight. What Rob does not demonstrate is control — his grasp of dosage and duration is incomplete, which makes the pen less a weapon and more a dare with a battery.

The chronology after the fight is part of the entry, in order: the cartridge is emptied, and Chuy uses it after that. The text treats the emptied cartridge and Chuy’s use as sequential facts, and the wiki keeps them sequential rather than merging them into one event. The supernova — the catastrophic outcome characters worry the strain might produce — is discussed as a fear. It does not occur.

Role in Volume 01

  • Big Trouble in Chinatown: Rob supplies the vape pen. Killian uses it in the underground fight: he glows, launches the white energy sphere, and defeats his opponent. Rob’s incomplete understanding of dose and duration is on full display. In chronological order afterward: the cartridge is emptied, and Chuy uses it. The feared supernova never happens.

Notes

  • “Hydroken” was a proposed name from an online poll and was rejected. It is recorded here as a rejected name only — it does not go in the aliases field, and it is not the strain’s name.
  • Dose and duration are not established. Rob’s understanding is incomplete, and the text does not fill the gap for him.
  • The supernova is a warning, not an event. Nothing in either volume shows it occurring.
