Krampus is a member of El Cucuy and the Nightmares, found behind the green room bar mixing drinks “with the precision of a centuries-old mixologist.” He is towering, horned, and “faintly glowing with holiday menace.”

Description

Towering and horned, glowing faintly, utterly at home behind a bar. He serves rather than lounges, the band’s bartender as much as its member.

Role in Volume 01

In El Cucuy and the Nightmares, Homeboy sweeps an arm toward the bar and announces, “That’s Krampus and The Näcken!” Nixie corrects the second name on the spot. Krampus smokes his PTSDream joint with the band when the laced shipment turns the concert into a nightmare riot, plays the show, and closes the night at the penthouse afterparty.

Relationships

• El Cucuy: his frontman.
• Baba Yaga, La Llorona, Nixie: his bandmates.

Notes

• The text gives him no lines; his whole presence is the bar, the horns, and the glow.
