Pure intimidation: looms, smiles without humor, promises I can crush you like a bug. Runs his operation with minions, forklifts, and dramatic finger-snaps. His one vulnerability is dignity: he has none to spare once the evening turns scatological, and his authority does not survive being the fourth person in a vomit chain.

Role in Volume 01

In Big Trouble in Chinatown, General Pain is introduced by Thomas as the man to fear, then spends his scenes being systematically dismantled by Chino’s refusal to take him seriously: the name roast (Mediocre Pain? Dull Pain?), the rice demands, the endless photo scroll (how many women are on here?!). His hostage leverage is real: Hugo arrives in chains on a forklift. But his big scene collapses when Chino soils himself mid-standoff and the smell sets off Thomas, then Ingrid, then General Pain himself, then every minion in the room. The Adventures: Volume 02

Transforms into a massive tentacled demon, shrugs off Rawr’s finger-snap and the crew’s attacks, and gets impaled by the Man of Iga’s sword (“For Sakura”). Explodes; Rawr contains the blast and the remains are drawn into the sword. Status: deceased.
