The Strip Club Owner

The unnamed owner of the strip club where Mary Jane dances as “Katie Bloom,” coerced at gunpoint by Mr. Bitches into luring her in. He resists once (“I’m not making the call”), then folds when Mr. Bitches presses a chrome Desert Eagle to his forehead and explains the chamber holds the bullet he had meant for himself that morning.

Role in Volume 02

• The Emperor of the Universe: His only appearance. In his office, sweating into his leather chair with The Emperor’s Servant standing silent behind him, he takes the photo of Mary Jane and makes the call: he tells “Katie” a very special client has personally requested her, apologizes for using her stage name, mentions the blacklisted gropey customer James, and offers her two thousand for two hours of conversation and dancing. After she agrees, Mr. Bitches lowers the gun (“Thank you. I and the Emperor of the Universe are grateful”) and later gives him a dramatic bow on the way out with the collared women. The owner stays in his office.
