Former Tri-Lamb Fraternity House

Aliases: none Status: Minor

A fraternity house that isn’t one anymore. The former Tri-Lamb house is now the residence of Edward and Jacob — two vampires — and the site of an abduction, a feeding, and a rescue in Count Dragula. Mary Jane supplies the backstory: expelled fraternities, vacant houses. What the fraternity did to get expelled, who owns the building now, and which campus it’s attached to are all things the text does not say, and the page does not guess.

Description

Two layers, kept apart. What’s observed: Edward and Jacob live here; the house is their residence and their base of operations for the story’s vampire business — a place that currently runs on abductions and feedings rather than pledge week. What’s reported: Mary Jane’s account of expelled fraternities and vacant houses — documented separately, attributed to her, because the text never independently confirms it. The “Tri-Lamb” identification itself comes from reported history, not from anything the prose verifies on the door. The page treats her history as testimony and the occupancy as fact, and never lets the two trade places.

The distinction matters because the house’s whole identity is borrowed. Its fraternity past is hearsay, its present is vampires, and the text is interested in the present. Nobody in the story is renovating; everybody is rescuing.

Role in Volume 01

  • Count Dragula: its only appearance. The abduction target is brought here. A feeding happens here — Edward and Jacob take a forearm each. The rescue happens here. For the length of the story, the house is the vampire side’s headquarters: residence, hunting ground, and holding cell in one.

Relationships

  • Edward and Jacob: the current occupants. Hosts of the abduction and the feeding; recipients, eventually, of the rescue party.
  • Mary Jane: the source of the house’s institutional history — expelled fraternities, vacant houses. Attributed, not verified. Without her, the building is just a house with vampires in it.

Notes

  • “Former Tri-Lamb Fraternity House” is a proposed descriptive title. The Tri-Lamb identification comes from reported history; the text never shows the name on the building or otherwise verifies it.
  • Exact ownership of the property is unresolved. Campus affiliation is unresolved. The fraternity’s misconduct — whatever got the Tri-Lambs expelled — is unspecified in the text.
  • Mary Jane’s account of expelled fraternities and vacant houses is attributed testimony, not confirmed fact. The page documents the current vampire occupancy separately from her history.
