A Kush Monster behind the wheel of a Mrs. Dealer’s Edibles product van, “large, fuzzy, and radiating chill,” who gets pulled over on the way to the Colosseum, cracked on the head with a baton, and wakes up to find the shipment tampered with.

Description

Large, fuzzy, chill. He complies with everything the officer asks, hands over documents without a word, and takes the baton hit without ever fighting back.

Role in Volume 01

In El Cucuy and the Nightmares, the officer pulls his van over, has him step out, open the back, and put his hands on the cruiser hood. The baton cracks against the side of his head and he crumples. When he wakes, the cop and the rednecks are gone, the van doors stand open, and his license and registration lie on the driver’s seat. He closes and locks the doors, rubs his head with a heavy paw, and drives on. He never knows the shipment got laced with LSD.

Notes

• His bad feeling “settling into his fur” is the story’s only warning that the night’s product is compromised.
