Amy

Status: One-off

One of the two escorts Edward and Jacob bring back to the Tri-Lamb house, the sharper of the pair, and the one who works out what her hosts actually are. She leaves the moment the vampire thing surfaces (there’s no way we are going to be used for food), and ends the evening on Count Dragula’s lap instead, which appears to be a significant upgrade.

Description

Skimpy dress, playful, quick: she’s the one who clocks the money misunderstanding first and the one who names what’s happening when the fangs come out. Flirtatious on her own terms: she settles onto Edward’s lap purring you most certainly can, right up until the deal changes.

Role in Volume 01

In Count Dragula, Amy and Tara arrive expecting paying clients and get a farce: the boys think the cabbage, the broccoli, the green means vegetables. When Count Dragula exposes Edward’s lie (vampires don’t squint). Amy puts it together out loud (you guys are vampires?!), rejects the hasty we just wanted sex defense, and walks. Her exit line to Mary Jane, I like your skirt. It’s cute., is the story’s warmest beat. She resurfaces in the finale on Dragula’s lap, giggling as he leans toward her neck.

Relationships

  • Tara: her partner; they operate as a unit and leave as one.
  • Edward: her would-be client, demoted to cautionary tale.
  • Count Dragula: her end-of-night company; a vampire, but honest about it.
  • Mary Jane: one genuine compliment, exchanged mid-chaos.
