Tara

Status: One-off

One of the two escorts Edward and Jacob bring back to the Tri-Lamb house, alongside Amy, the warmer of the pair, and the one who ends the night taking Chino by the hand. She walks out the moment vampirism enters the chat (fuck that bullshit), and walks back into the story’s final scene on her own terms.

Description

Skimpy dress, purring delivery, direct: there’s just one catch (the money, which she has to explain twice because the boys think she’s discussing produce). Genuinely sweet underneath the transaction: her parting compliment to Mary Jane (I like your skirt. It’s cute.) lands soft in the middle of everyone’s worst evening.

Role in Volume 01

In Count Dragula, Tara arrives with Amy for what should be a routine job and gets a vampire farce instead: the money/vegetables mix-up, then Count Dragula’s squint-based exposure of Edward. She leaves with Amy, no hard feelings beyond disgust, and returns for the living-room finale: perched on Chino’s lap tracing patterns on his arm, sharing the victory blunt, and finally standing, tugging his hand, and winking him into the bedroom. Homeboy’s review of the arrangement: more for us.

Relationships

  • Amy: her partner; they arrive together, read the room together, leave together.
  • Chino: her end-of-night date; she chooses him, explicitly.
  • Jacob: her would-be client; the evening’s biggest disappointment.
  • Mary Jane: recipient of the skirt compliment; brief, genuine warmth.
