The unnamed attendant of The Emperor of the Universe, who appears at a snap of the Emperor’s fingers holding a jewel-encrusted smartphone up for inspection. He follows orders, speaks once, and does the physical work of the Emperor’s demands.

Role in Volume 02

• The Emperor of the Universe: His only appearance. He materializes beside the Emperor in the Ominous Forest, holds up the jewel-encrusted smartphone so the Emperor can read out “A Chino and a Homeboy,” then lowers it and steps back. When the Emperor refuses to enter the forest himself, he orders the Servant to go with Mr. Bitches, and the Servant drags reluctantly behind. In the strip club office he stands silent behind the coerced owner, then steps forward and fastens the metal collars around Sarah Yazzie’s and Mary Jane’s necks. His single spoken line comes aboard the shuttle: “Emperor, a vehicle approaches.”

• He is unnamed in the prose. “The Emperor’s Servant” is a dossier label, not a canon name.
