Mr. Bitches’ Emporium of Sex

Aliases: none Status: Major

Mr. Bitches’ Emporium of Sex is the antagonist complex of its story: a sprawling sex-entertainment venue that fronts as commerce and hides an organic duplication operation underneath. Deliveries go in the front, purchases happen in the middle, and in the hidden lower chamber, warm leafy pods hold the originals whose copies walk the floors above. By the end of the story the pods are disconnected, the originals wake up, and the enterprise collapses.

Description

The Emporium is one connected complex, and the brief is explicit about its layout: The Hub, the Palace of Pleasure, cinema and retail departments up front — the commercial face — stepping down through a control room to the hidden pod chamber, where the real business happens. The progression is the point: the further in you go, the less commercial it gets, until commerce stops entirely and you’re looking at something grown.

Up front, it’s a venue: deliveries arrive, product moves, customers buy, and the whole operation wears the camouflage of a high-end sex emporium. Behind that, the deception: Sarah Yazzie’s copies circulate while the original Sarah is held in a pod. The pods are warm, leafy, and organically connected to each other — not machines, something cultivated. A Hostess warns that opening an original’s pod will kill its copies. When the crew starts disconnecting pods anyway, the originals wake, and armed copies burst into blue-purple material. The liberation of the originals is the collapse of the enterprise: no pods, no product.

The complex

  • The Hub: the complex’s front-of-house center — the part of the operation a customer would see first.
  • The Palace of Pleasure: the venue’s grand interior face, where the commercial promise is made.
  • Cinema and retail departments: the storefront layer — purchases, browsing, the ordinary business of an emporium.
  • The control room: the hinge between the show and the machinery, where the operation is actually run.
  • The hidden pod chamber: the lower chamber of organic duplication pods. See Emporium Duplication Pods for the apparatus itself; the chamber is its home.

Role in Volume 02

  • Mr. Bitches and the Emporium of Sex: Its only story, and it carries the whole plot. The crew delivers to it, buys from it, gets deceived by it, and eventually dismantles it. Uncle Hank’s supply chain feeds it — crates stenciled CINDERELLA, mushrooms of his own design, delivered to Mr. Bitches — and the pod chamber at the bottom of the complex is where Hank’s merchandise becomes Mr. Bitches’ inventory. The story ends with the pods disconnected, Sarah freed, and the complex finished as a business.

Relationships

  • Mr. Bitches: proprietor. The commercial genius up front, the pod farmer in back.
  • Sarah Yazzie: the original in the pod; her copies are the product. Her liberation is the complex’s death sentence.
  • Uncle Hank: supplier — the Cinderella mushroom pipeline that feeds the duplication operation.
  • Chino, Homeboy: delivery crew, customers, and eventually the demolition team.

Notes

  • This is not The Jiggly Room. The Jiggly Room is Mr. Bitches’ later, separate venue — a successor operation with its own layout (stages, VIP rooms, cells) and its own ending (Lucy destroys the robots). The text does not establish that one was renamed into the other; treat them as distinct.
  • The organic copies grown in the pods are distinct from the mechanical sex robots of the later operation. Different manufacturing, different monsters.
  • The brief gives the departments’ names and their front-to-back arrangement; it does not supply floor plans, and neither does this page. If the text ever draws the map, the page can grow one.
